We booked directly thru Geiranger Fjordservice AS. You can get their website here on Trip advisor on their listing page, just search by their name under things to do. They have a great website and I would definitely book ahead before your arrival. While you can get tickets directly from the office on the day you arrive, they have many different types of tours, but many of them book up well in advance. Book online and then check in for your tour at their office (which is right on the pier to the right of the main building) about 15 minutes before your tour begins and you'll be all set. Have fun!

Driver was a 23 year old who lives on the island. No I can’t recommend one but the best part of the tour was going up and down the mountain. Views were spectacular. They also have a hop on bus there. They all do the same thing. Up mountain, ten minute stop at top, one or two quick stops. I think hop on was $5 less. Don’t know if you need to reserve ahead. We were on a ship so port was busy.
