Casual to semi formal. It is New Orleans afterall so there is a mix. I would wear what you are comfortable in the most.

I don’t know if a child could see over any of the back rests, no matter whether it’s balcony or orchestra. Depends on the size of the child I suppose. If you want your child to see, I’d pick orchestra in the front row, otherwise it’s a gamble. Just my personal opinion, and of course I’ve only been here twice.

I was in the Balcony for Hamilton and it was fine. If you want to see better you could bring binoculars. Acoustics are fine
