Hungarian police say the suspect had met the 31-year-old Oregon woman at a nightclub and later made internet searches on how to dispose of a body.

A man is in custody Friday after an American woman who went missing in Budapest was killed earlier this week, Hungarian police said.

A Western New York native from Fredonia who went missing in Budapest was killed earlier this week, Hungarian police said. Mackenzie Michalski, 31, who had gone to Hungary as a tourist, was last seen at a nightclub on Tuesday.
