A person who ran out onto Highway 180 was struck and killed on Thursday, according to the California Highway Patrol. CHP says around 10:45 a.m. the person was killed after they ran across Highway 180 at the Highway 41 interchange directly into the path of an approaching vehicle.

A 37-year-old woman standing on Route 70 was struck and killed by a car on Wednesday night, authorities said. Catherine L. Camargo was hit on the westbound side near Wilbur Avenue at about 10:40 p.m.,

A pedestrian has been seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle in North York Thursday night. Emergency crews responded to a collision near Jane Street and Sheppard Avenue West at 8:20 p.m. Police say the male pedestrian was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries.
