TYRRELL COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) - The Tyrrell County community is mourning the loss of a beloved former administrator and town mayor. Tyrrell County Schools shared in a Facebook post Tuesday night that James Cahoon, a former principal and assistant superintendent, has died. Cahoon also served as the mayor of Columbia.
