The ivory suit which included an achkan and pajama, a turban and a floor-length cape was "tailored" for Diljit Dosanjh, fitting the theme even more. The cape was embroidered with Punjabi alphabets. It featured the map of Punjab in gold embroidery and the back of it had mool mantra written in Gurmukhi.

The event was co-chaired by singer Pharrell Williams, actor Colman Domingo, F1 champion Lewis Hamilton, rapper A$AP Rocky and Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour. Basketball legend LeBron James served as an honorary co-chair.
