According to Gurman, this doorbell would have the ability to wirelessly connect to a compatible deadlock — allowing users to unlock their door with Face ID. The product would come to market by the end of 2025 at the soonest, based on the report.

The rumored smart doorbell would take Apple’s Face ID tech beyond phones and iPads.
