The City Council reached a separation agreement with Steven Dwight Williams and accepted his resignation effective Friday in lieu of his termination.

Officer Steve Williams of the Prescott Police Department has involuntarily resigned from his position effective Friday, according to a separation agreement obtained by FOX9. Williams will receive severance as part of the agreement. The agreement also states that Williams cannot be reemployed by the City of Prescott.
