Will Power and Josef Newgarden were among the fastest cars in Indianapolis 500 practice, hours after their teams were penalized for illegal modifications in qualifying.

IndyCar penalized Josef Newgarden and Will Power for illegal modifications to their vehicles ahead of the Indianapolis 500. Both drivers will start in the back of the pack.
