NJ Transit Police say they were notified of an unattended bag at Newark Penn Station around 3 p.m. Inside, they found a handgun and loaded rifle. They arrested the suspect, who also had three handguns and two rifles on him.

An unattended bag at Newark Penn Station led to the discovery of a man carrying several handguns and rifles while he traveling to Virginia on an Amtrak train, officials said. He was arrested at the Trenton Transit Center.
