After 22 years and a whopping 18 games, Kingdom Hearts 4 will finally move the franchise's story towards its conclusion. Speaking during an interview with YoungJump, Square Enix ‘s Tetsuya Nomura has revealed that he’s planning on bringing the Kingdom Hearts franchise to an end, and is also considering retirement from the games industry.

Tetsuya Nomura has declared that he may retire before finishing Kingdom Hearts, but it sounds like Kingdom Hearts 4, at least, will end properly.
