With a new Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered release coming, Sony has proven the futility of the current PlayStation generation.

A new ESRB listing appears to confirm the existence of Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered, and boy howdy does that make me feel old.

Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered has been rated by the ESRB, listing PC and PlayStation 5 as its platforms. A remaster of Guerrilla's first Horizon game was rumoured back in 2022, but is yet to be officially announced by Sony.

Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered has been rated by the ESRB. The game, which VGC reported on in 2022, will come to both PC and PlayStation 5, according to the ESRB listing. A PC version of Horizon Zero Dawn was released in 2020 with improved draw distance and higher framerates, but it mostly reused the assets and features from the PS4 version.

The remaster, slated for release on both the PS5 and PC, harbours no surprises according to its description: “Players guide Aloy as she learns to hunt robotic creatures and animals in the wild. Aloy uses arrows, spears, and explosive traps to injure and kill machines, boar, and occasional human enemies.”

On September 18, well-known game deals and news aggregator Wario64 s hared a tweet showing a Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered ESRB rating. The newly spotted rating mentions PS5 and PC, so it appears that this new version might launch on both platforms right away. The game is still rated T for Teen as it was back in 2017 on PS4.

Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered is in the works for PC and PS5, according to a description on the website of rating board ESRB, which leaked the existence of the game ahead of any official announcement (first spotted by Twisted Voxel ).

According to Jeff Grubb, there's a second remaster in the works at PlayStation which is "even less exciting" than Horizon Zero Dawn. He didn't say what it is, but he did clarify that it's not Bloodborne.
