This mid-infrared image from NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope excels at showing where the cold dust, set off in white, glows throughout these two galaxies, IC 2163 and NGC 2207.

Cygnus X-1 was the first ever black hole discovered in the year 1960 which had 10 times more mass than the sun. It is galaxy 2MASX J22014163+1151237 along with its supermassive black hole that is surrounded by ghostly green filaments.

NASA has discovered two monster black holes consuming everything in their path in a galaxy one billion light-years away from the Cygnus constellation, on the northern edge of the Milky Way, in the first event of its kind.
