We're rapidly approaching the halfway point of the 2025 NFL season. Week 8 is up next and, with it, the fewest games in a week in the regular season. Six teams are on a bye this week: Arizona, Seattle, Detroit, Jacksonville, Las Vegas and the Los Angeles Rams.

We had our first down week in quite some time, as I went 5-8 against the spread in Week 8. I did not see the New York Jets rebounding and defeating the Bengals in Cincinnati or the Miami Dolphins getting up off the mat and upsetting the Falcons in Atlanta.
