Rep. Nancy Mace of South Carolina says she is “seriously considering” a gubernatorial run in 2026. Mace told The Associated Press Wednesday that she will likely make a determination on entering the contest in the coming weeks.

South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster will on Wednesday deliver the 2025 State of the State address. Gov. McMaster will be live at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 29 to deliver his annual address to the state of South Carolina.

McMaster became the longest serving governor Wednesday, the same day as the annual State of the State address where he discussed his priorities and budget proposals for the year — the second to last year of his tenure as the state’s top executive.
