After making waves in theatres, Moana 2 is finally coming to Disney+! The long-awaited sequel will be availbale for streaming on Wednesday.

A jury has quickly rejected a man’s claim that Disney’s “Moana” was stolen from his story of a young surfer in Hawaii.

Was “Moana” based on a boy named Bucky? An attorney for a man who alleges Disney's questing Polynesian princess was stolen from his work told jurors at a federal trial Monday that a long chain of circumstantial evidence and similarities so numerous they can’t be coincidences make it clear that his story “Bucky the Surfer Boy” was the basis for the hit 2016 animated film.

A federal jury ruled in Disney's favor on Monday, delivering a swift verdict in a copyright lawsuit case in which a man claimed the company stole his ideas to make the hit film Moana. According to the Associated Press,

Animator Buck Woodall sued Disney in January and alleged that the company stole the idea for 'Moana' from a story he has been developing since the 2000s
