BUENOS AIRES, Argentina — A judge in Argentina on Monday confirmed that five people have been charged in connection with the death of former One Direction member Liam Payne, several local media outlets reported.

Two people were charged with selling Payne drugs, and three people were charged with negligent homicide for his Oct. 16 death in Argentina.

BUENOS AIRES, Argentina (AP) — An Argentine judge confirmed charges against five people in connection with the death of Liam Payne, a former member of musical group One Direction, and ordered preventive prison for two of them for having supplied him with drugs.

Liam Payne's manager is one of three people charged with manslaughter in the investigation into the One Direction singer's death in October.
