National Capital Delhi is all set to welcome a new Chief Minister today, September 21. President Draupadi Murmu has accepted Arvind Kejriwal's resignation and appointed Atishi as the new CM of Delhi.

Kejriwal announced that he would return as Delhi's Chief Minister after securing a "certificate of honesty" from the people in the upcoming assembly polls.

The oath-taking ceremony for Delhi's new Chief Minister, Atishi, is set for 4:30 PM on Saturday at the Raj Niwas. This announcement follows some confusion, as Atishi and other ministers had not received the swearing-in timing from the Lieutenant Governor's office.

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Atishi is set to take oath as the Chief Minister of Delhi today, making her the third woman and youngest to hold this position in the capital.

Atishi, AAP leader, is set to be sworn in as Delhi`s sixth Chief Minister on Saturday. The Kalkaji MLA will lead the government for the remaining term until the next elections.

Atishi succeeds Kejriwal amid legal turmoil. Atishi will succeed Arvind Kejriwal, who resigned as CM on Friday after being granted bail by the Supreme Court in a corruption case.

The swearing-in ceremony for AAP leader Atishi as Delhi's chief minister, along with her council of ministers, is scheduled for Saturday afternoon at Raj Niwas at 4:30 pm, according to officials. The lieutenant governor's office confirmed that President Droupadi Murmu has appointed Atishi to the position effective from her swearing-in date and has accepted the resignation of former chief minister Arvind Kejriwal.
