Mississippi State vs. Florida was one of the most intriguing matchups to watch this weekend, but not because of the quality of the two opponents.

The Bulldogs (1-2) were blown out 41-17 by the Rockets (3-0) at Davis Wade Stadium on Saturday. Frankly, everything that could’ve gone wrong did go wrong. It was the most lopsided nonconference home loss since 2006. Mississippi State paid Toledo $1.2 million to play the game.
