Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang will deliver the opening keynote at the CES on Monday, with many analysts viewing the event as a potential growth catalyst for the chipmaking giant.

Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA), the producer of the world's most powerful artificial intelligence (AI) chips, has been at the forefront of the AI revolution. All this has helped the tech giant deliver double- and triple-digit quarterly revenue in recent years and has sent revenue to record levels.

Jensen Huang founded accelerated computing company Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA) in 1993, and has served as the CEO and president ever since. Nvidia has achieved many breakthroughs under his leadership, but the invention of the graphics processing unit (GPU) in 1999 was particularly momentous.
