A man has died after three people were stabbed at a market in London, according to police. The Metropolitan Police say three people were attacked on Sunday morning at East Street Market, off Walworth Road in south London. A man, believed to be in his 60s, was arrested at the scene and taken into custody.

A man has been shot dead and two people have been injured with gunshot wounds in south-east London, the Metropolitan Police has said. Officers were called at 10:10 BST on Sunday to reports of a shooting near Wells Park Road in Sydenham where they found a man with injuries who died at the scene.
