Days before the Philadelphia Eagles take on the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl, Philadelphia’s mayor sought to dissuade celebrating fans from climbing light poles or onto other equipment.

Days before the Philadelphia Eagles play in Super Bowl LIX, city officials are preparing for potentially tens of thousands of fans to hit the streets after Sunday night's big game.

Philadelphia residents may start seeing temporary no parking signs along the South Broad Street corridor and City Hall beginning Thursday, according to the city. The city says the no parking zone will go into effect at noon Sunday. Any vehicles parked in the locations during the posted hours could be relocated.

Mayor Cherelle Parker and city leaders will hold a press conference Thursday to discuss safety measures that Philadelphia will take in preparation of Super Bowl LIX.
