After an 81-79 loss to the Washington Mystics on Tuesday, the Sky fell to 5-13; only the 2-16 Connecticut Sun have a worse record in The W. Since selecting Reese seventh overall in the 2024 draft, the Sky have an 18-40 record.

Throughout the course of the matchup, Reese did everything she could to keep the Sky in it. She scored 22 points on 5-for-9 shooting, including knocking down 12 of her 15 free throw attempts. In addition, she racked up 15 rebounds and dished out four assists.
