Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is fighting to uphold a Texas law he says is keeping the pornography industry from targeting children with harmful content.

Paxton’s win was unsurprising after the state’s top court sided with his deputy in a similar lawsuit last month.

The state bar had sought to sanction Paxton, which could have carried a punishment ranging from a private reprimand to disbarment.

Both lawsuits stem from the attorney general's attempt to call into question the results of the 2020 presidential election.
