Rajouri (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], September 21: Union Home Minister Amit Shah addressed a public gathering today, asserting that the upcoming assembly election in Jammu and Kashmir is a chance to end the dominance of the Gandhi, Abdullah, and Mufti families. He accused these families of undermining democracy since India's independence.

Home Minister said that the work of spreading and promoting terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir in the 90s was done by the families of Abdullah, Mufti and the Congress Party.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah held election rallies in Thanamandi and Rajouri of Jammu and Kashmir today, ahead of the second phase of polls on September 25. He is also scheduled to address rallies in Surankote and Akhnoor.

Asserting that there is no fear of cross-border firing in border areas of J&K, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said on Sunday that if Pakistan fires a bullet, it will be responded by a mortar shell.

Amit Shah criticized NC, Congress, and PDP for fostering fear in Jammu & Kashmir while praising local bravery during wars and insurgency. He condemned promises to restore Article 370 and highlighted increased youth participation under Modi's leadership.
