ST. PAUL, Minn. (Northern News Now) - Tuesday night, voters elected Keri Heintzeman for Minnesota’s 6th District Senate seat.

As more women and young people run for public office, they’re bringing more than fresh policy ideas to statehouses.

Supporters of the legislation say the redirected funds will help lower property taxes. The Walton County TDC says their residents would feel the hit to their wallets in other ways.
