Delta is giving new planes a major in-flight infotainment upgrade, including new screens and Bluetooth audio for all.

Delta Air Lines announced plans to install new 4K HDR QLED screens in its commercial airplanes, so passengers can experience ultra high-definition entertainment at ultra-high altitudes.

While the airline’s centennial celebrations and new partnerships—such as those with YouTube and Uber—were noteworthy, the real star of the show was the introduction of ultra-high-definition 4K screens that promise to transform passengers' experience at 30,000 feet.

Disney+ joins 160 other adopters of the HDR standard, including major competitors.

Disney+ will soon start streaming in the HDR10+ format, FlatPanelsHD reports. This will bring Disney+ in line with Apple TV+ and Amazon Prime Video, both of which already support Samsung's format of HDR.
