In the second game of this Subway Series, Yankees shortstop Anthony Volpe accidentally hit Aaron Judge in the head with a baseball. While it's normal for Judge to get thrown the ball as they head off the field, this time Judge wasn't looking and was hit in the face.

In an odd moment in Saturday's game between the Yankees and Mets, Aaron Judge was accidentally struck by a baseball as he was jogging off the field after the bottom of the fifth inning.

To make matters worse, Volpe nearly took out Aaron Judge with a meaningless throw after the fourth inning. As the Yankees jogged off the field following the bottom of the fourth, Volpe, already past third base and in foul territory, launched a throw in the direction of Judge — who was coming in from right field.
