SACRAMENTO – Northern California will see another triple threat of rain, snow and wind before 2024 comes to an end. The northern Sacramento Valley will see rain Sunday morning, with the northern valley seeing up to an inch of rain while the Sacramento area could get up to a quarter of an inch.

Sporadic rain is expected in the Sacramento Valley from Thursday evening through Saturday morning, with the potential for heavy rain, and a winter weather advisory in the Sierra Nevada until noon on Friday.
