The Indiana Fever made their first roster cuts of training camp Monday. Rookie Bree Hall and Jillian Alleyne were waived by the team as it narrows down its Opening Day roster. WNBA teams can carry 12 players, but because of salary cap limitations, the Fever will likely have only 11 players on its roster to start the season.

This means teams often enter training camp with more than 12 players and must make tough cuts over a short two-week period to reach the league's roster limit.
