Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant has deactivated his X social media account, formerly Twitter, amid criticism of his recent play.

Grizzlies forward Jake LaRavia also deactivated his 'X' account on Tuesday. The Grizzlies (31-16) will be back in action on Thursday night against the Houston Rockets (8:30 p.m., TNT).

The Memphis Grizzlies find themselves as one of the top teams in the NBA as the halfway point of the season passes. Despite All-Star guard Ja Morant being in and out of the lineup, they've been able to get great performances out of other players like Luke Kennard and Desmond Bane.

Memphis (30-15) has won five straight games, while Utah (10-32) has lost four straight and is in last place in the Western Conference. The Grizzlies are 12-7 this season when Morant does not play and 18-8 when he's in the lineup.
