As reported by VGC, a number of Nintendo classics files were leaked in 2020, including Super Mario 64. Among them, a model of Luigi that was never used in the 1996 version was found.
VGC pointed to a video from 1995’s Nintendo Space World show, where Nintendo first showed off early demos and concepts of Super Mario 64, Starfox 64, and The Legend of Zelda.
This, however, seems to be the only footage we have of an early Super Mario 64 build, and if real – or not just a trick of the eye – it just may be the only known footage of Luigi in the game.
