It was time to show people the real Celtic. They certainly did that last night at Celtic Park where they steamrollered Slovakian champions Slovan Bratislava and showed that we have turned up to the Champions League this season ready to not just take part, but to make our mark on this competition for the first time in a very long time.

Celtic and Slovan Bratislava have faced on two previous occasions, with both of those meetings coming in the quarter-final of the 1963-64 Cup Winners' Cup. The Scottish side won both legs by a 1-0 scoreline, before being eliminated in the semi-final by MTK Budapest (3-4 on aggregate).
