Ubisoft and Assassin's Creed Shadows are both back in the middle of controversy following the new release date for the game.

Ubisoft has announced that Assassin’s Creed Shadows, already delayed out of 2024 to February 2025, would be delayed another month

This marks the second release date change for the video game, which was originally moved from its planned Nov. 15, 2024 launch to Feb. 14, 2025 at Ubisoft last September. The shift was attributed to quality concerns related to poor performance for “Star Wars Outlaws” at the time.

Assassin's Creed Shadows has been delayed again with the next entry in the behemoth series pushed back to March 20, 2025.

"This additional time will allow the team to better incorporate the player feedback gathered over the past three months and help create the best conditions for launch by continuing to engage closely with the increasingly positive Assassin’s Creed community. The game is now scheduled for March 20."

Ubisoft has delayed Assassin's Creed Shadows once again, this time by around a month, to provide a "more ambitious and engaging day-one experience".
