RALEIGH, N.C. -- Dustin Tokarski made 15 saves for the Carolina Hurricanes in a 2-0 win against the Vancouver Canucks at Lenovo Center on Friday. The shutout was Tokarski's first in five starts with Carolina and the third of his career. The 35-year-old was signed by the Hurricanes on Dec. 2 after playing for Chicago of the American Hockey League.

The Canucks are struggling a bit as they have lost three games in a row. They are 2-3-5 over their last 10. The Canes will most likely want to give Pyotr Kochetkov the night off so look for Dustin Tokarski to be in net.

The Vancouver Canucks are expected to receive a massive boost to their lineup as Elias Pettersson has been activated from IR. Pettersson has missed the last six games with an upper-body injury but is expected to return to the ice against the Carolina Hurricanes.

For Friday’s game against the Carolina Hurricanes, the Canucks will welcome forward Elias Pettersson and goaltender Thatcher Demko back to the lineup.
