A little home cooking has helped the Lakers get back on track. It is incredible how much LeBron James still dominates games in his 22nd NBA season. He's averaging 24.3 points, 9.4 assists, and 8.1 rebounds and has the Lakers back on track after a rocky road trip.

It’s only a matter of time before they get there, assuming Paul George, Tyrese Maxey, and Embiid stay healthy.

In other words, a slow ramp-up was always expected for the superstar. Especially in light of comments he made around training camp, when Embiid bluntly told reporters he did not expect to play two back-to-back games for the rest of his career. However, it seems the seven-footer may have been hasty with that declaration.
