The discovery, announced Thursday by the universities of Oxford and Birmingham, was made last summer when a worker digging up clay in a quarry in Oxfordshire noticed unusual bumps.

Researchers have discovered the UK’s biggest-ever dinosaur trackway site in a quarry in Oxfordshire. They found nearly 200 huge footprints, which date back to around 166 million years ago. The discovery was made by researchers from the Universities of Oxford and Birmingham.
