The International Court of Justice (ICJ) on Monday dismissed Sudan's case accusing the United Arab Emirates of fueling genocide in Darfur by supplying weapons to paramilitary forces, saying it lacked jurisdiction.

The International Court of Justice has dismissed Sudan’s case alleging that the United Arab Emirates violated the Genocide Convention by supporting paramilitary forces in the Darfur region.

The top United Nations court said it lacks the jurisdiction to decide on a case brought by Sudan against the United Arab Emirates over genocide allegations in the North African country’s civil war.
