Kerrville’s mayor said he was unaware of any help sent by the state to his community ahead of the flood, a day after Gov. Greg Abbott said the state had “assets, resources and personnel” in place two days before a flood tore through the Hill Country.

Members of the Kerrville community will gather to honor and remember the lives lost during the recent flash flooding. Community blessing is a time for those impacted by the storms to lean on each and their faith as they try to rebuild their lives.
