A Lake County deputy resigned while under investigation for allegedly crashing his patrol vehicle while looking at pornography on his phone, according to the sheriff’s office.

The deputy originally said his brakes locked up and he was scrolling through a group chat with other deputies before the crash. However, the Lake County Sheriff's Office found he was watching porn. The deputy then admitted to lying and resigned.
