American Red Cross national spokesperson Nicole Maul joins ‘America Reports’ to discuss the American Red Cross’s disaster relief priorities as wildfires continue to threaten the Los Angeles region.

As devastating wildfires continue to impact communities in Los Angeles, hundreds of American Red Cross workers are on the ground offering critical support to families in need.

The Northern Nevada Red Cross has deployed a trained disaster volunteer to the city of Los Angeles as wildfires have forced the evacuation of thousands.

"There's going to be a big need. We know we have thousands of people in shelters, thousands of people displaced,” Ziada said.

Members of the Red Cross from Oregon and Southwest Washington will fly out of International Airport on Thursday to offer support as members in California set up shelters to assist people who were forced to flee their homes.
