The NFC South race seemed to be over long before Sunday when the Falcons lost in overtime at Washington in Week 17. The Buccaneers were facing the sad-sack Saints, who had lost their previous two games by a combined 59-10 score. Once the Buccaneers won, they'd be on their way to the playoffs.

The road to the Super Bowl in the NFC will go through Motown. The Detroit Lions secured a No. 1 seed with a 31-9 victory over the Minnesota Vikings.

Everything always gets crazy during the final week of the NFL regular season, and this year was no different. It lasted all the way until the final game of Week 18 to determine what the 2025 NFL playoff picture would look like with Wild Card Weekend ahead.
