PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A man is facing several charges after a stabbing on Monday afternoon in Center City Philadelphia. Azariah Ellerba, who police say also goes by Corbin Ellerbe, has been charged with aggravated assault, possession of an instrument in a crime, as well as reckless endangerment.

A 25-year-old man was hospitalized in stable condition after he was stabbed in the face during a verbal altercation late Monday afternoon at Dilworth Park in Center City, police said. Around 4:05 p.m., police responded to an initial report from a security guard that a man had been stabbed in the neck at Dilworth Park.
