Jan 22, 2005 · All "sand" is not eaqual .The general home depot sand maynot work if it is to course .The playsand will have chunks that will clog your tip , the finner sand is what your lookin for screened and cleaned .Better to go to a masonary outlet for the nice fine stuff .And be sure to protect your lungs .Also do not blast straight on hit your panels at an angle and move kinda fast to prevent warpages ...

Nov 14, 2005 · The paysand from ace was too wet, so I dried it out on some 4x8 tarps and emptied another into a drywall style bucket in the shed to help it dry out. The Home Deopt sand works the best. You may have to sift it but its definately dryer. I found the cheapest and dryest way was the Home Depot sand mixed with aluminum oxide. WORKS WONDERS.

Sep 9, 2011 · OSPHO is a brand of phosphoric acid manufactured by The Skybryte Company. It converts rust into a zinc phosphate which makes a great pre-primer. It will look powdery white/grey when completely dry. Black bubbly areas are typical signs of over wetting, and are commonly soft and tacky.

Jul 26, 2018 · From what I have found it looks to me like the Lizardskin ceramic stuff does a great job at insulating the inside from heat. Can be sprayed or rolled on. Can be put on the inside or outside as needed. I figure I'll grab a gallon of it on Amazon. That should be enough to do the floor and firewall of my A roadster.

As I was sanding down the rough rust spots and chips with some Scotchbrite pads and sand paper, I noticed that it was lightening up the dark rust spots and making it easier on the eyes.

Aug 30, 2008 · SEM makes a spray can guide coat that goes on like dusty black. It's mostly just carbon dust with not much binder so it won't gum up the sandpaper. You don't need much at all, just enough to sort of darken the surface of it so that it's obvious where you missed with the sandpaper. You don't need to make it solid black.
