I don't know what the difference is, but I didn't get any weird messages this time. Oh, by the way: I chatted with Adobe when this first happened, and the tech, although very nice, was quite surprised when I said Elements 12 and 15.

Dec 26, 2022 · It is normal that “Elements 15 was not transferred”. Installing a new computer adds only the operating system. Any application needs to be installed at a later stage. I would recommend downloading the software and keeping it save on a disk (don't forget the backup).
