Is Gibby a good ranked pick and what’s his playstyle?
Nov 15, 2020 · I am an octane main in pubs, but I play Gibby for ranked because his abilities are defensive but still useful for aggressive playstyles. Everyone knows that the player who takes the least damage wins the fight, Gibby's abilities are for taking less damage.

Gibby meta was well and truly alive during the Algs championship in July. In the last two months, Gibby has not received any nerfs (besides his bubble being able to be broken my Maggie's ult). Chet Ubetcha (#1 Gibby) uses revive perk and Bubble Bunker. But tbf he doesn’t use shotguns and he’s probably just played so much Gibby that he’s used to the dome size and doesn’t want to change it. I think all perks are pretty viable, just depends on your play style

Yes, Gibby is still valuable. One of the scariest things in Apex Legends is an aggressive Gibraltar. His bubble has a ton of uses, but it's great at turning a 1v2 or a 1v3 into multiple 1v1s, which is something you're going to want to get good at, no matter which Legends you use.
