Mar 18, 2022 · Don’t recommend save yourself the pain and get an edge. The first 2 PS5 controllers I own, haven’t even lasted 6 months without some kind of issue (usually stick drift). I know these aren’t made to last, I don’t think I could spend over $200 on any controller 😅 although I’d love to have paddles.

Scuf Envision Pro, XBOX Elite 2, and PS5 Edge Comparison
TL;DR: Xbox Elite is subpar, PS5 Edge is slightly missing a step but it’s awesome, and the SCUF Envision Pro has GOAT potential but input latency and software bugs are an Achilles heal. The biggest miss Corsair made with the Envision is the Polling rate, same mistake Microsoft made with the current XBOX controllers.

From many many years of experience with scuf controllers and owning a relfex myself, I recommend you take off the front plate that is removable to have direct access to the analog sticks. Then get an air blow canister and spray the parts inside the controller that the sticks are attached to. This has proven to work.

Nov 1, 2023 · Scuf, BattleBeaver, Aim, and Cinch are the best custom controllers on the market. Out of the 4, Scuf is BY FAR the worst. Crappy quality, wear n tear begins almost immediately & the back buttons are in horrible position, compared to its competition. BattleBeaver is the best.
