Dave Filoni made a much-loved carton that even die-hard fans will admit is a mixed bag. But the highs for them make the lows easy to overlook. I'm not a fan of his work on the shows really, and I didn't find his episodes of The Mandalorian to be particularly great, but he's definitely warned his spot at Lucasfilm and he seems like a good guy.

Apr 23, 2022 · Well, Dave Filoni is definitely more of a director than he is a writer, but even so, I think people have really overstated his obsession with bringing characters back? Book of Boba Fett and Mandalorian? He brought back three characters in total and only two of them were featured in episodes he wrote and directed.

Dave FIloni ruined the clone wars era for me. The whole show feels like a 13 year olds imagination, and I really, really, hate the new clone voice. Also the battles are pathetically small in scale compared to the EU. Im so salty about it years later.
