The Mission of Ubah Academy is to provide students with a rigorous education that prepares them for college and the pursuit of meaningful careers in our community, while maintaining a focus on the needs of each student.

Ubah Academy Online is a comprehensive online program. Students will be scheduled in six classes a semester and can work independently, with teachers daily or both.

Ubah Academy began operating in the 2004-2005 school year as Ubah Medical Academy with approximately 90 students in Minneapolis. The school district now serves about 300 students at its facility in downtown Hopkins.

UBAH considers all reports of harassment or violence as a serious matter and will take appropriate actions based on reports received. UBAH administrators will also take action if anyone tries to intimidate a student or take action to harm them because a report was made.

Ubah Academy is located at 1600 Main Street in Hopkins, Minnesota (formerly the Katherine Curren Elementary School). Ubah has been leasing the facility from the Hopkins School District since the 2007-2008 school year.

Ubah offers a comprehensive and challenging high school curriculum for students. A wide variety of course offerings are available, including Arabic classes, ELL classes, and College Prep courses.

In partnership with our community stakeholders, Ubah Academy prepares all students to be college and career focused, and to become lifelong learners and responsible community members ready to meet the challenges of the future.

Procurement leads the sourcing, purchasing and vendor management for UBAH Academy. Our goal is to bring a best value approach that allows the school district to spend funds in the best way possible in support of improving the educational experience.
