My sock layers consist of, 100% polypropelene sock, Redhead cold weather sock (with more polypro, i think) and a final layer of 80% wool sock.
How many grams of insulation for hunting boots?
Jan 7, 2011 · joehunter8301. if your hunting in 30 below you will need 2,000 grams plus many layers of socks. i guided in about 0 degrees and had 1,200 grams with 4 layers of socks and was chilly when i wasnt moving. for average september oct weather 400-600 should be adequate.

I will add that the mod is set to 27.5" and it draws about 1/4" long to get my 27.75" DL. The grip is another stand out feature of the Sequel 33.

And as Stretch said speed isnt important at all on that level. FOC is much more important. Generally X10s are a pretty heavy arrow. Most will be 300gr range for arrow.
